Welcome to Mahón (Maó), the capital of Menorca (Minorca).

Thought mayonnaise came from the French? Legend has it that it actually came from this town.

Other claims to fame: gin and cheese.

Mom and I decided to take a trip into town on the second day. We weren’t sure if we’d have enough time to explore in the morning and be back for lunch and yoga, but we quickly realized the town was very do-able in a couple of hours.
